Research on Relationship Between Sensory Color and Objective Color of Cotton Fabrics

When the inherent colors of the raw materials are the same, which means the objective colors are the same, the sensory colors, the colors that human eyes can perceive, would turn out to be different for the differences of the surface and the luster of the textiles in various textile structures. In this paper, cotton is taken as an example and tests are made on the objective colors and the sensory of the textiles of different structures. In addition, the statistic software is used to make analysis on the experimental data. The explorations on the influences of the sensory color variations due to the differences of the textile structures can draw the conclusion that there is objective rule existing in sensory colors and objective colors.
