Wavelength conversion for 112Gbit/s PolMux-RZ-QPSK signals based on four-wave mixing in high-nonlinear fiber using digital coherent detection

Dual-pump wavelength conversion for 112 Gbit/s polarization multiplexing RZ-QPSK signals based on four-wave-mixing in 1 km high-nonlinear fiber with digital coherent detection has been demonstrated for the first time. Less than 2 dB-penalty is achieved after wavelength conversion in this scheme.
