A modified Hopfield neural network to allow a speed A/D conversion

The theoretical performance of a speed A/D conversion attained from a modified Hopfield neural network is discussed. The particular network permits a theoretical A/D conversion based on the specific design of the neuron's settling time. Starting from the equivalent Smith and Portmann circuit, where the authors have modified the trigger's hysteresis and thresholds, they propose a new theoretical circuit, based on a theorem, which is also demonstrated.<<ETX>>
