An Algorithm of the Passive Location and Tracking for the Moving Emitter by a Single Fixed Observer

An algorithm for the moving emitter passive locat io n and tracking based on TOA and DOA measurements by a single fixed station is gi ven. This algorithm has some great advantages over the extended Kalman filter (E KF). Furthermore,the two improved methods which combine this algorithm with Kal man filter can obtain better location performance. And the results of the comput er simulation prove that they're good methods.
