Analyse de la fiabilité des batteries au plomb par les arbres de défaillances et la spectroscopie d'impédance

In this paper the authors present an approach of RMAS (Reliability Maintenability Availability and Safety) to analyze lead-acid battery's degradation. The construction of causal tree analysis offers a powerful tool to the deductive analysis which consists in seeking the various possible combinations of events leading to the loss of batteries capacity. The description of the causality chain is completed by a fault tree analysis (FTA) established from the equivalent electric circuit of battery. The authors show that the failure modes are detected and quantified by impedance spectroscopy analysis. The failure modes, effect and criticality analysis (FMECA) is used to determine the Risque Priority Number to identify and to rank the potential lead-acid battery's failure modes with relatively high probability and severity consequences.
