The simulation of dynamic gateway strategy for connection of Ad Hoc network with internet

In this paper, we proposed a three-layer dynamic gateway strategy, which integrates mobile IP and AODV protocol. This is one kind of multi-gateway mechanisms. By using irregular nodes not attached fixed gateway as gateway in Ad Hoc network, network overload will decreased. And the efficiency of the network will increased. According to the distance, the registered number of nodes and traffic-weighted algorithm, dynamic optimization gateway is selected. This approach is based on the use of dynamic gateways as an interface between Ad Hoc Networks and the Internet. At the same time, Ad Hoc routing protocol is used to support mobile nodes communication. Finally, with the aid of several NS2 simulation experiments, the performance of dynamic gateway approach has been obviously improved.
