The invention discloses a detecting system and a detecting method for a non-vehicular charging machine. The detecting system comprises a main control unit, a direct-current standard meter, an alternating-current standard meter, a direct-current electronic load, a program-controlled adjustable alternating-current source and a testing equipment interface. The detecting method comprises the steps of firstly connecting the charging machine; subsequently starting the detecting system; transmitting the control instructions of the main control unit to the direct-current standard meter, the alternating-current standard meter, the direct-current electronic load, the program-controlled adjustable alternating-current source and the testing equipment interface by the testing control bus; executing the control instructions and reporting the execution results to the main control unit through the testing control bus by the direct-current standard meter, the alternating-current standard meter, the direct-current electronic load, the program-controlled adjustable alternating-current source and the testing equipment interface; comparing the tested data with the data of the charging machine in the main control unit; and finally obtaining the conclusion on the qualification of the charging machine. The detecting system and the detecting method can be used for testing the qualification of the charging machine, thus guaranteeing the benefits of the user and the persons providing the charging pile.
