Research Progresses of Visible Light Communication Based on White LED

The advantages and development of visible light communication(VLC)system are introduced and the key techniques,including the problems such as improving the communication rate,realizing full duplex communication and interconnecting with the existing communication networks are overviewed.The applications and prospects of the VLC technology are presented.
