A novel DSP algorithm for improving the performance of digital coherent receiver using single-ended photo detection

A novel digital signal processing algorithm is proposed to improve the performance of digital coherent receivers using single-ended photo detection. The effectiveness of the proposed algorithm is experimentally verified by using a PolMux-RZ-8PSK modulation format.
