Novel compact narrowband CPW bandpass filter using an efficient loaded structure

A novel compact narrowband bandpass filter (BPF) using coplanar waveguide (CPW) with an efficient slow-wave structure is presented. The folded open stub is used as loaded structure for the filter design with the merit of better slow-wave factor. Additionally, this filter achieves a sharp transition band (TB) and 5% bandwidth at 2.4 GHz with 60.67% reduced factor. © 2004 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
