A SIMPLE WEBCAM TO RECORD ANIMAL BEHAVIOR

This article describes an interaction and behavior monitoring system for two mobile animals. The proposed system is implemented using a webcam and LabView software. The purpose of these algorithms is to track animals' behavior accurately and continuously without using colored markers. The results demonstrate that the method can analyze the displacement and the distance between two moving mice, the locomotive stability of mice, and the position of the mice with respect to the walls.
