The over-consumed of electric power in drainage pumping station is a problem which is need to be solved quickly.This paper takes single pumping station for example,and presents an application of fuzzy control in Speed governing of frequency conversion of water pump for saving electric power at aimed water level(the best lift).Not only the basic theory of Speed governing of frequency conversion of water pump using fuzzy control is introduced,but also the design process of fuzzy controller is presented.This control system can use PLC for coarse-tune and fuzzy controller for fine-tune,so,the water level can keep unvarying at aimed water level(the best lift).It could achieve the control goals of electric power and sewage overflows minimizing at last.
