Comprehensive Evaluation Based Selection Method for Power Transformer

The power company is often concerned about the economy in power facility selection and ignores the technology, environment and societys influence on the selection decision. This paper established a new selection model covering economic, technical, environmental and social factors. Put forward the concept of comprehensive evaluation index and selected the transformer by comparing various types of transformer comprehensive evaluation index. Interval contact mathematical theory that can deal with a variety of uncertainties was introduced to process the model. Finally, verify the validity of the model with a specific transformer selection example.
