The defense automotive sector had been much neglected in the past decade. The defense automotive sector is defined by land-based vehicles or combat vehicles consisting of main battle tanks, infantry fighting vehicles, trucks, and other variants.1 Land-based systems were most popularly used by the military to face counter insurgency warfare mainly during the Cold War. In the aftermath of the Cold War, the defense automotive sector was downplayed at the expense of building air, sea, and security capability to face different forms of threats, posed by non-state actors.
