A Novel 3D Imaging Method of FMCW MIMO-SAR

Short range three-dimensional imaging radar has wide application prospects, but high resolution high resolution requires a large number of antenna elements in traditional planar array 3D imaging radars. In this paper, In this paper, the Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave (FMCW) Multiple Input Multiple Output (MIMO) Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) with a linear antenna array is used to solve this problem. The MIMO technology is used to achieve azimuth high resolution, the SAR technology is used to obtain elevation high resolution, the FMCW technology is used to get range high resolution. These methods can effectively reduce the antenna elements in 3D imaging systems. Compared to the conventional methods, the proposed method requires a smaller number of antenna elements. It is demonstrated through simulations and experience.
