Simulation of Lead-Acid Batteries Charging System Based on Fuzzy Self-Adaptive PID

A novel method of fuzzy self-adaptive PID was proposed.This new method is used to control voltage loop and current loop of lead-acid batteries charging system,and solves the problem that signal in nonlinear time-varying charging system can not be expressed quantitatively and uncertainty of evaluating indicator.To show the validity of the proposed control scheme,simulations based on Matlab/Simulink was carried out.Simulation results of fuzzy self-adaptive PID are compared with that of conventional PID control.The results show that the fuzzy self-adaptive PID system has good dynamic and static performance.
