Simulation of the Wide-Band Slow-Wave Structures using Numerical Methods

Simulation of helical, meander and other slow-wave structures is considered. Models, based on multi-conductor lines, and numerical method for calculation of retardation factor and input impedance of the structures are developed. The appendage to Matlab PDE tools package is proposed for calculation of characteristic impedances of multiconductor lines. As an alternative, application of commercial software packages (microwave office, CST microwave studio) for analysis of the slow-wave structures is considered
