A Design Method of the Boiler Steam Temperature State Feedback Controller

A new design method of the state feedback controller for power station boiler steam temperature control system is put forward.The desired poles are placed with a multiple capacity process transfer function standard form.The control system transfer function is derived by the Mason's signal-flow gain formula and the controllable norm model.The use of new design method can make it possible to finish the stable condition design and the transition process design at the same time.The new method is suitable for engineering application with the simple algebra computation and the significant parameters.The successful simulation test shows that the new method is effective.
