The Establishment of the Power Line Element Model Library for the GIS in Power Transmission and Distribution

It is of great importance to create a 3D model library of power line elements in the visualization of GIS.This article offers a method to realize this.The modeling tool is 3ds max,and OSG is for underlying rendering.8 kinds of models are obtained.The concepts of dynamic modeling instances and page rendering methods are introduced.Data save formats and standards are established.The 3D panorama visualization is realized,and models could be drawn from the library directly.
