High-density, vertically aligned crystalline CrO(2) nanorod arrays derived from chemical vapor deposition assisted by AAO templates.

Vertically aligned CrO(2) nanorods with an areal density as high as 1.2 x 10(10) cm(-2) were obtained via atmospheric pressure CVD assisted by AAO templates for the first time.
