Synthesis Load Model and its Fitting Parameters in Simulation of Large Disturbance Test Carried Out in Northeast China Power Grid

In the year of 2004 and 2005, four field tests of large disturbances, i.e., three-phase metallic short-circuit tests, were carried out in Northeast China power grid respectively. Based on the measured data of the four tests, a comparative study on test results and simulation results was performed; the excitation system model and its parameters were adjusted and the small generator connected to low voltage network was recovered in simulation data. The adaptability of various load models was analyzed, and the fitted parameters for synthesis load model (SLM) in which the distribution network are taken into account are given. The fitted parameters are used in simulation that verifies the correctness and effectiveness of SLM and fitted parameters.
