The invention discloses a datagram network transmission method suitable for forward error correction and encryption application. The method comprises the steps that a sending end carries out preprocessing and sending on the data to be sent, a receiving end carries out reversed preprocessing on the received data, a plurality of data packages are spliced and divided according to data with equal length before the sending end carries out preprocessing on the data to be sent, the received data packages are spliced and the original data packages are extracted after the receiving end carries out reversed preprocessing on the received data, the preprocessing comprises the steps of generating at least one of forward error correct codes and encryption processing, and the reversed preprocessing comprises the steps of processing at least one of the forward error correct codes and the encryption processing. The transmission method reduces or eliminates the filling of invalid data, therefore processing aiming at the invalid data is reduced or eliminated, and transmission efficiency is improved.
