Research on the development of heterogeneous network transmission system for seismic exploration wireless data acquisition

In order to meet the needs of wireless seismic data acquisition, three development researches namely wireless seismic data acquisition, wireless data transmission network, and seismic acquisition control center system are carried out in this paper. For the requirements of wireless transmission of seismic exploration data, the heterogeneous wireless transmission network based on regional clustering is adopted. The mesh network structure based on IEEE 802.15.4 standard is adopted in the seismic acquisition nodes intra-clusters. The Ad-hoc network based on ARM-Linux and IEEE 802.11 b/g standard is adopted in the inter-clusters connection. For the requirements of the center control system of seismic exploration, the Xserve middleware in Ubuntu12.04 is used as the interface between seismic acquisition network and upper applications, and the application interface is designed and configured as a web server.
