Application of Air Curtain with Parallel Fans as Airway Resistance in Jinchuan Longshou Mine

The spot investigation on the application of air curtain with multi-parallel fans as of airway a resistance is conducted in Jinchuan Longshou Mine. The air curtain with four parallel fans is installed in both side of the cross-cut of main brae tunnel. The air curtain significantly plays a role as an adjusting air window. Under -10℃ fans in both sides in working, at 0～-10℃ the fans in one side in working, and over 0℃ all fans of both sides in rest, the air flow in main brae tunnel is insured less than 50m 3/s, and the equipments in the 1 # and 2 # new skip shaft are effectively protected in some extent.
