Experiment and analysis of transverse circulation in curved channel

The formation mechanism of circumfluence was expounded in this paper,and the generalized model of a 180° rectangular section in curved channel was established to analyze the characteristics of fluid state.According to the vertical distribution and the isopleth map in different profiles,circulation intensity of the curved channel can be analyzed.With the help of the flow field in any section of the bend,the characteristics of circumfluence were obtained.These results may provide a theoretical basis for the theoretic research and engineering practice.
