Visualization ModelsandTechnologies forCollaborative Product Development: Status andPromise

Recently, research anddevelopment isbeing actively conducted todevelop light-weight representation schemes forproduct models andvisualization-based systems to support collaborative product development. Inthis paper, several mainstream light-weight representation schemes andvisualization-based systems aresurveyed. Meanwhile, technologies tointegrate visualization-based systems with otherfunctional systems to establish collaborative product development environments arediscussed.
