The similarity theories analysis and design of model test for cabel-styed bridge pylon

The theories of structure experimentation model are presented by combining the equation analysis.Ratio of similitude and similarity criteria are deduced.In order to study on the mechanic behaviour of the joint-pylon of the cabel-styed bridge with separate twin prestress girders and a united twin-pylon.A test for the whole pylon of Yongjiang super-large bridge is made with a scale-down model.The structural design and loading methods for the test model are presented.The mathematical programming model of cable tension optimization is established.
