Distributed power control algorithm in CDMA systems

The performances of Utility-Based Power Contro(lUBPC) algorithm and DPC algorithm in CDMA system are simulated and analyzed.The simulation results show that the former does not suffer from divergence by choosing proper utility function, while the latter will diverge when traffic congestion builds up.At the mean time,the UBPC algorithm can satisfy the users’QoS requirement and realize fairness among users.What is more,the speed of the convergence is insensitive to the amount of the users.
