Research of algorithm for railway step compensation of mid-low speed maglev

While running on the track, mid-low speed maglev has to deal with the disturbance from Guideway steps and gaps, which may bring impulse to the suspension system. In order to suppress the influence of the guideway gaps to the vehicle, enhance the reliability of the system and bring passengers comfort, the article puts forward a compensation algorithm, which judges the guideway steps according to the output character of the gap sensor and introduces the transition procedure at the input of the system. The simulation results show that, comparing with the former fusion strategy, the new compensation method has better performance in decreasing the current change rate and accelerated speed.
