Finite element calculation and its application to anti-sliding piles with prestressed anchor cables

Based on finite element theory and Winkler assumption, a mathematic model is established for anti-sliding piles with prestressed anchor cables. The model for calculating anti-sliding piles by finite element theory is introduced briefly. The model can be expanded to solve non-Winkler foundation problems. Corresponding software is developed by MATLAB language. Taking the Wanglingyan landslide for example, the satisfactory results are obtained. Comparing the ordinary piles with anti-sliding piles with prestressed anchor cables, the conclusion that the anti-sliding piles with prestressed anchor cables should be popularized, is drawn theoreticcally .
