A Very Basic Tutorial for Performing Linear Mixed Effects Analyses: Tutorial 2

This is a tutorial for using linear mixed effects m odels. Quite a few introductions to these models already exist, but th ey are often very technical and can be daunting for readers who lack the appropriat e mathematical background. This tutorial is different from other introductions by being decidedly conceptual; I will focus on why you want to use mixed models and how you should use them. The tutorial requires R – so if you haven’t install ed it yet, go and get it!
