Advanced DSP for Monitoring and Mitigation in Optical Transport Networks

DSP-based transceivers with enhanced monitoring and mitigation capabilities enable highly efficient transport networking with minimized excess margin and open line systems with enhanced availability. Examples for such advanced DSP algorithms are introduced.
