Synthesis and Characterization of Glycine Schiff Base Complexes of the Light Lanthanide Elements

Abstract Six new complexes of the light Ianthanide elements La, Ce, Pr, Nd, Sm and Eu with Schiff base ligands derived from salicylaldehyde and glycine have been synthesized and characterized by elemental analyses, molar electrical conductivities, magnetic moments, infrared and electronic spectra, and thermogravimetric analyses.
