A Method of Moments Study of Sar Inside Spheroidal Human Head and Current Distribution Along Handset Wire Antennas

This paper deals with the electromagnetic (EM) interaction between the multilayered spheroidal head model and wire antennas. The EM fields inside and outside the dielectric spheroid are expressed by using the Green's dyadic and the superposition of EM fields in terms of vector wave functions. The distortion of the current distribution of the wire antenna is studied. Based on the multilayered spheroidal model, the Method of Moments (MoM) is applied to calculate the current distribution induced by the scattered wave due to the presence of human head. The numerical calculation is fast convergent because of the energy absorption of the dielectric spheroid. The Specific Absorption Rates (SAR) inside the spheroidal head model due to the final current distributions are presented.
