Detección de Desbalances Mecánicos en Máquinas Accionadas con Motores de Inducción. Caso de estudio: Cernedores Planos.

In this work, a method for detection of mechanical unbalances in machines driven by Induction Motors is analyzed. Detection is based on the information contained in the motor currents and voltages. Such information is analyzed using the instantaneous active power. As case of study, the detection of unbalances in the plansifters of a flour mill plant is presented. An induction motor model with an unbalance load was also implemented for simulation. Experimental results where obtained in the Adelia Maria plant of Molino Canuelas in order to validate the proposed method.
