Temporal Logic in Artificial Intelligence

The real world problems which are raised by the formalization of time within the context of artificial intelligence systems are extremely difficult and have been swept under the carpet by many AI researchers for many years. Only over the last few years has there been an increasing interest for time related problems and really hard problems have been attacked.
