Adsorption Thermodynamics Of A Mid-Chain Peptide Residue On Functionalized SAM Surfaces Using SPR

Proteins are bioactive macromolecules made up of specific sequences of amino acids (peptide residues) that are organized into hierarchical levels of structure that subsequently determine the protein's functional behavior. The adsorption of proteins to materials surfaces can have substantial influence on the protein's bioactivity. Thus, protein adsorption behavior is important in many applications in biotechnology, including biosensors, biocatalytic systems, bioseparation systems, bioanalytical instru-
