Study on Noise Radiation Characters of a Gearbox Housing under the Action of Fluid-Structure Coupling

The finite element model of complex gearbox housing,with some lubricant in it,is built.The fluid-structure coupling theory is employed.On the base of vibration analysis,the exterior sound field is calculated with the acoustic boundary element theory.Then the noise radiation characters and the influences of the lubricant on the housing are obtained.Finally,the simulation results are verified by measuring the sound power levels of noise sources by means of sound intensity method.
