SOLID ANGLE COMPUTATIONS FOR A CIRCULAR RADIATOR AND A CIRCULAR DETECTOR

The problem of particle detection, when using an isotropic neutron point source at different distances from a circular tanget or a radioactive source as seen by a circular detector, e.g. a solid state counter, is discussed. Tables are given for different distances of the source, when the reaction at the target has an isotropic or a cosine angular distribution in the laboratory system. (auth)
