Production Situation and Development Trend of the Hot-rolled Dual Phase Steel for Automobile Structure

The development situation of hot-rolled DP steel in "replacing cold rolled automobile sheet products by hot rolled one" and the application of hot-rolled DP steel in vehicle body structure and wheels were introduced.The chemical composition and properties of main DP steels produced at home and abroad were described.According to the performance requirements of high strength steel for automotive structural parts and process characteristics of compact production line,further improving production stability,structure property stability,strip shape and surface quality will become the key direction of research and development of low-cost hot-rolled DP steel for automobile manufacture.
