Influence of stope geometry and blasting patterns on recorded overbreak

Abstract This paper reports on work in progress in investigating the influence of stope geometry and blasting patterns on recorded overbreak. It relies on field data from geomechanical classifications, back analysis of blasting patterns and actual stope geometries resulting from cavity monitoring system measurements.
