Experimental demonstration of long haul transmission of eigenvalue modulated signals

Eigenvalues of the associated equation of the nonlinear Schrödinger equation are mathematically invariable. We experimentally demonstrate the eigenvalues can be almost conserved for longer than 1,500km in wavelength division multiplexed optical fiber transmission line for the first time.
