Digital and media-oriented transformation of sci-tech academic journal publishing

Digital publication is an inevitable development tendency for academic journals.Digital publication of academic journals has two approaches: the original digital journals and the digitalized and media-oriented transformation of traditional journals.This paper argues that the latter approach can take more advantages of the traditional journals and will become the main force of digital publication.This paper analyzes the features and necessity of digital and media-oriented transition of the academic journals.Taking CNKI digital publication as an example,the advance online publication and exclusive publication are introduced.
