The Bimolecular Reduction of Acridine and 9-Substituted Acridines by Sodium 1-Benzyl-1,4-dihydronicotinamide-4-sulfinate

Sodium 1-benzyl-1,4-dihydronicotinamide-4-sulfinate is found to undergo the bimolecular reduction of acridine or 9-substituted acridines to the corresponding 9,9′-biacridans.
