Equilibrium of forces in fluidized bed — experimental verification

Abstract The results of an experimental study of solid-liquid fluidized bed expansion are reported. The correlational equation ϵ = (F D /F G ) 0,209 obtained in the paper is found to be in agreement with both the Richardson-Zaki equation as well as with the equation of Todes et al.
