Stochastic Estimation of Bsf

Similarity plays an important role in providing unity for music, so composers and music analysts alike can benefit from similarity measures. This paper discusses the properties of bsf, a similarity measure for twelve-tone rows, estimates stochasti- cally its behaviour, and devises an efficient compu- tation for it and other comparable measures.
