Detektoren und Optimalfilter für Digitalsignale mit Impulsinterferenzen Teil I: Optimaldetektion und Whitened-Matched-Filter

The relations between the optimum receiver filters belonging to different detectors for digital signals with intcrsymbol interference are shown. The SNR-losses are determined in comparison to transmission without intersymbol interference. As a foundation for this comparison in part I the optimum detection and the theory of Whitened-Matched-Filters are presented.
