AS Alliance in Inter-Domain Routing

The inter-domain routing system is the critical infrastructure of the Internet. For this complex macrosystem, improving the ability of self-organization and cooperation is more adapted to the solid growth of the scale to the center-control. In this work a novel notion of AS alliance' is introduced, which is a group of self organized AS that can work together for some common profit. Based on it, two enhanced mechanism for BGP are proposed. The security enhanced mechanism has very low cost of certificate management and good scalability. While the stability enhanced mechanism has better isolation property.
