A High-Performance DB/DC System

Discussed is the evolution of a computerized airline reservation system from its early form up to the present version. Data base allocation, accessing techniques, and data communications of the system are discribed. The system consists of the programmed Airline Reservations System (PARS) and its control programme called ACP.
