Adaptive limited feedback scheme for stream selection based interference alignment in heterogeneous networks

In this paper, a stream selection based interference alignment method is presented for heterogeneous networks with limited feedback. The presented stream selection approach initially selects streams from the user of the pico cell, continuing with the strongest streams among the unselected streams that increase the sum rate while each user receives at least one stream. After the selection procedure, the interferences between the selected stream and the unselected streams are mitigated by orthogonal projections. The sum capacity is improved by adaptive bit allocation in limited feedback channel.
